A Farm in Disrepair Needs More than Rain
It might not have the biggest star power, but the Padres' farm system is certainly deep, with dozens of prospects who could fill major league rosters in the years to come. There are only a couple of possible All Stars here, but there's one benefit to a bottom-of-standings finish: the team will enjoy some very high draft picks in the next couple of years.
An elite outfield prospect, Donovan Tate is one of San Diego's brightest young stars.
