Barely-Legal Baseball Prospects Now Online
Up-to-the-Minute Ages Now in Profile
How young is too young? Now you can be the judge.
Here in the bowels of Scouting Book Mountain, the whirring, clacking, steam-powered mainframes are stuffed top to bottom with baseball data. Some of it is very valuable, some of it... not. Did you know, for example, that as a child growing up in Taco Taco, Cuba, White Sox prospect Alexei Ramirez used to make his own bats by breaking his poor mother's furniture, mops and brooms?
On the more-useful side of the scale, a lot of people have asked us to please show the ages of the prospects we discuss, so we've added an up-to-the-minute (well, up to the day, anyway) display showing every prospect's current age, right alongside his birth date.
This info has been added for every prospect we track, from the youngest to the oldest.
Whether you use this information for your hot-stove studies, your fantasy league research, or your astrological hobbies is up to you. We're just glad to make it available.
(Yes, we said Taco Taco, Cuba. Really, would we make that up?)
