Not yet recovered from labrum sugery and showing no signs of the curve that once made scouts rave. Add in the fact that he's a one-pitch flame-thrower who did most of his development under the 'care' of the Cubs trainers, and you have a recipe for a very fantastic, and very short, major league career.
He's got stuff (or at least he did pre-surgery) so there are a few reasons to be optimistic, but the road back won't be a short one.
