Oakland is still holding out hope for this former top prospect, but unless he starts showing that he can hit with a wooden bat, he's bound to keep falling through the depth chart. If he never develops power, his comparisons should be focused more on the Mark Grace style of play: solid defense and a lot of gap doubles. He's one to watch, but not one to jump on just yet.
