The Book on Aaron Crow

Prospect Info

KCAaron Crow
Born 11/11/1986
RHP, KC

A righthander with three quality pitches and middle of the rotation capability, Aaron Crow was a nice fit for a patient Nationals team that's good at developing overlooked pitching talent. Sadly, the Nats couldn't sign him before the deadline in 2008, and so he went back into the draft for 2009, when he was selected by his local Kansas City Royals. Don't forget about him.

Player Updates and Notes

Aaron Crow has agreed to a three year, $3M contract with the Kansas City Royals. The deal includes an additional $1.5M in incentives if he makes the MLB roster. Considering how the back end of KC's rotation has looked this year, we'll call that a 'when'.

Washington failed to sign Aaron Crow at the deadline. He'll probably play independent, international or unaffiliated ball to stay in shape, then re-enter the draft next year.
