A big, strong corner infielder who's clearly ready for the big leagues, Tiger rookie Jeff Larish should compete for a roster spot in 2009. Finally called up in mid-2008, he filled in at first, third and DH for the injury-riddled Tigers, hitting .260 with a couple of home runs in 42 games. He won't be bumping Miguel Cabrera anytime soon, but his big bat should continue to grow in the years to come.
