Brad Miller will join Nick Franklin and Mike Zunino in Seattle in time for Thursday's game, according to NBC Sports. Miller, one of the team's best hitting prospects, will take over as the everyday shortstop. He was hitting .356 with six homers and a 1.022 OPS in AAA, and his career average is a shiny .334. The offensively-impaired Mariners appear ready to accept the defensive downgrade.
