A mystery prospect who has shown flashes of brilliance mixed with downright awful play in recent years, Rio Ruiz alternated between being a .300 hitter and a sub-.200 one all season long in 2015. A hard-hitter who (sometimes) shows an exceptional batting eye, Ruiz is not much in the field, making him pretty much locked into a 1B/DH career, which means he'd better find some consistent power soon, or else.
