Avisail Garcia, DET
5/16/2013: With Austin Jackson on the DL, postseason poster-boy Avisail Garcia will be called back up to MLB. Detroit's bouncing baby slugger was slashing an ungodly .432/.447/.541 while biding his time in AAA Toledo. As long as his performance doesn't crater, he should get most of the starts in center for the next couple of weeks. After that... we'll wait and see.

Update: DET: 5/17/2013
Al Albuquerque got his shot to impress in Detroit, and for the most part did exactly that, striking out 26 batters in only 14 innings of work so far this season. Unfortunately, the value of being unhittable only goes so far: he's also thrown six wild pitches and walked thirteen in the same span. He'll return to the minors to sharpen that control a bit, and should be back in a month or so.
